Local place. Excellent food. Atmosphere is typical of local Thai restaurant in the outer skirt of large city. No air conditioning. Set your expectations with the atmosphere, and you will be amazed by the food and the service. We had kao soi. I had one with beef and chicken (not on the menu but they accommodate my request). The beef was tender. Chicken fell off the bone. Very tasty without overpowering. The soup base is slightly sweet and not spicy, so you can tailor the spicyness level by the chili paste they provided. We also had pork satay. Very nice aroma. Pork was grilled to the right level. Not too dry. Very tasty. Highly recommended. For all the food for 2 people, we paid less than 220 Baht (in 2025).

Green curry chicken is nice! Khao Soi kai is also nice, just a bit too sweet. The place has wide varieties of food, from basic a la carte to local Northern dish.

We asked the ladies at the Nan Museum for their recommendation for locals’ favorite and voila! This restaurant has the most amazing food we had Khao Soi, Kanom Jean Nam Ngew, Pla Duk Pad Ped, Grilled pork, Kanom Jean Gang Kai and all the deserts. They were so delicious, the meat in the curry was just fall of the bones. The curry was smooth and aromatic. The grill pork sticks were done just right. The desert dishes were not to be missed. Pa Wanda was so friendly and welcoming, she came around and greeted every table which make the experience at this local food joint so special. The restaurant is simple but clean and comfortable. There isn’t any air conditioning but somehow it felt quite airy. You will be so amazed when you get the bill!!! It’s unbelievably reasonable. I will defiantly go back here again!

Very nice and friendly owner. They have English menu available. Love their Khao Soi Nua ( curry noodle with need), beef is tender and the soup has strong lemon grass taste which is very different from khaosoi i had in Bangkok. Satay is served hot and the meat is tender , perfect with the dipping sauce. Panang Pork curry is also another must have here.
